Do you rank high in the list when searching for keywords related to your products and services? If not, consider SEO and website promotion to increase your online presence.

Google’s Microsoft Moment

I’m not sure Google’s new Chrome OS announcement is that big a deal, or that the eventual product that gets released will actually have that much impact, but it’s a useful milestone in marking Google’s evolution towards becoming an older company with a distinctly different culture than they used to have.

Google Chrome OS: All the introduction hype that can fit on one page

Thursday, July 9th, 2009

The past 24 hours in technology have been pretty big, with Google’s recent announcement of Google Chrome OS, a new operating system to challenge Microsoft Windows. The rapid amount of information and speculation being released has resulted in a lot of information, so I’ve collected as many links as possible to read about the facts and speculation surrounding Google Chrome OS.

Google Chrome OS is official!

Is this new operating system the Microsoft Windows killer that some people think it is? Initial design reports suggest that Google is working under the assumption that eventually, everyone is going to want to do everything online and that every single computing task will be cloud based. Their new OS certainly makes this concept easier to achieve, but does not help to resolve the several large, outstanding concerns and challenges people have with the concept of cloud computing. See this article, Arguing about clouds, a brewing storm or a clear and sunny day?, to see some of the key battleground areas that will eventually find their way into the arguments about Google Chrome OS and Microsoft Windows. If nothing else, Google does present a hefty challenge to the Windows Cloud OS mentioned here.
